Weather can sometimes influence the likelihood of practice or games happening on any given day. When the temperatures get hot outside it is often up to the coaches as to whether or not there will be practice. We do however follow the MHSAA guidelines for heat index. Those guidelines state that if the heat index is above 104 all sports practices are canceled. Below is a link to the MHSAA guidelines as well as an explanation as to how the heat index is calculated.
